The proposed Kihei Mauka Road is intended to provide an alternative route to the congested South Kihei Road, improving traffic flow and transportation options. The KCA, a nonprofit organization established in 1960, has identified the completion of this road segment as a priority for 2025. The resolution calls for certified copies to be sent to the Directors of Transportation at both the state and county levels, as well as to the President of the Kihei Community Association.
