This resolution pays tribute to the life of Patricia Jung Williams of Willow Park, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at age 67. Born in Ottawa, Canada, to German immigrants Hermann and Kitty Jung, she was a distinguished graduate of Arlington Heights High School and earned a business degree from Austin College. Throughout her career, Williams worked in the hospitality industry and later joined her husband Roger Williams' automotive dealership, where she and her daughters became managing partners. She was actively involved in public service, including appointments to the Texas Automobile Theft Prevention Authority and the State Bar of Texas, and was recognized as the Most Influential Businesswoman of the Year in 1997. The resolution honors her contributions to business, community organizations, and her church, and extends condolences to her husband (U.S. Congressman Roger Williams), two daughters (Jaclyn and Sabrina), two grandchildren (Clara and Emmy), her sister Susan, and other family members. The Texas House of Representatives unanimously adopted this resolution on April 9, 2025, to commemorate her life and achievements.
