Born in Cadwell, Georgia in 1933, Stuckey served in the United States Army's 101st Airborne Division (Screaming Eagles) and later worked at Robins Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic and contracting officer. He was married to Almaleen on July 4, 1953, and they had two children, six grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. A man of deep faith, Stuckey was a deacon at Cadwell and Dudley Baptist Churches and was known for his community service, including maintaining a Christmas tree farm where he crafted wreaths. In his later years, he lived at Magnolia Estates (now The Grove), where he was beloved by staff and residents, even being named Valentine's King. The resolution celebrates Stuckey's integrity, kindness, and positive impact on his community, and formally expresses the House of Representatives' condolences, with instructions for the House Clerk to provide a copy of the resolution to his family.
