This bill, titled the America's National Churchill Museum National Historic Landmark Act, officially designates the America's National Churchill Museum, located at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri, as a National Historic Landmark. The Secretary of the Interior is authorized to enter into agreements with public or private entities to protect the museum's historic resources and provide educational programs, offering technical and financial assistance as needed. Importantly, this designation does not restrict the property owner's actions or alter the existing administration of the Landmark by the State of Missouri, the City of Fulton, or Westminster College. Furthermore, the Secretary of the Interior will conduct a special resource study to evaluate the museum's national significance, assess its suitability for inclusion in the National Park System, and explore alternative preservation and interpretation methods, reporting findings and recommendations to Congress within three years of the study's commencement.
