This bill authorizes the city of Springfield to issue an on-sale liquor license for the Springfield Area Community Center, which is a city-owned facility. The bill allows the city to obtain either an on-sale intoxicating liquor license, an on-sale wine and strong beer license, or an on-sale including Sunday intoxicating liquor license, despite any existing local laws or charter provisions that might otherwise restrict such licensing. Most provisions of Minnesota's liquor regulations (Chapter 340A) will still apply to this license, and the city of Springfield will be considered the official licensee.
