AI Summary
This bill amends The Fiscal Code to extend the authorization for transferring funds from the Pennsylvania Race Horse Development Fund to the State Racing Fund from June 30, 2025, to June 30, 2028. The bill maintains the existing provision that requires the General Assembly to transfer funds in 52 equal weekly installments during the fiscal year to support medication collection, research, and testing costs for horse racing. These funds will cover expenses such as personnel, equipment, supplies, and facilities for medication-related activities, with all costs subject to review and approval by the racing commission. The transfers will continue to be made before any other distributions from the fund, and the bill will take effect immediately, which in this case means 60 days after its enactment.
