Additionally, the bill reduces the minimum lot size for county regulation of bow hunting from 10 acres to 7 acres in unincorporated subdivision areas. The changes apply retroactively to any ordinances or regulations adopted before, on, or after the bill's effective date, which will be immediately upon receiving a two-thirds vote in the legislature, or September 1, 2025, if that threshold is not met.
