This bill, called the "Tech to Save Moms Act," aims to improve maternal health care through technology-driven initiatives. Specifically, the bill establishes two primary grant programs and mandates a comprehensive study on technology use in maternal health care. The first grant program will provide funding to develop technology-enabled collaborative learning models for maternal health care providers, focusing on training, evaluating care quality, and supporting providers in health professional shortage areas, rural regions, and communities with high maternal mortality rates. The second grant program will support digital tools that reduce maternal health disparities, prioritizing areas with elevated maternal mortality and health inequities.
