Within 12 months of the act's passage, the commission is required to submit a comprehensive report detailing their findings, recommendations, and potential draft legislation to various legislative committees and the clerks of the house and senate, with the ultimate goal of developing more effective approaches to increase organ donation rates in the commonwealth.
