Specifically, the report must include recommendations for policies and investments to address future workforce requirements, identify growing business sectors and potential employment gaps, provide a progress report on career pathway programs in high schools, higher education, and workforce training programs, and analyze skills needed in key industries. The report must be made publicly available and submitted to the Governor, relevant state agencies, and legislative committees on ways and means. The goal is to help ensure the economic competitiveness of the Commonwealth by providing detailed insights into workforce development and labor market trends.
