This bill authorizes the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) to provide sewer services to a specific 3.45-acre parcel of land located in Sharon, Massachusetts, currently owned by the Morandi Family Realty Trust and under contract with Sunrise Development, Inc. The property, situated at 313 and 317 Norwood Street and 5 Edge Hill Road, can receive sewer services through the town of Norwood, with a daily discharge limit of 10,000 gallons unless additional volume is approved by the MWRA. Before the sewer connection can be established, the MWRA's board of directors must vote to approve the connection after making specific findings and obtaining all required approvals from local and state regulatory bodies, including the community of origin, transporting community, and the authority's advisory board. Sunrise Development, Inc. will be responsible for covering all costs associated with engineering, design, construction, supervision, labor, equipment, and materials related to the sewer tie-in. The bill ensures that the property will be serviced by the sewer system to the same extent as other parcels currently served by the MWRA.
