This bill establishes the Historic Texas Cemeteries Designation Program through the Texas Historical Commission, which allows for the recognition and preservation of historically significant cemeteries. Under this program, cemeteries at least 50 years old (or deemed exceptionally significant) can be designated after submitting an application with supporting documentation.
