This bill, called the "Protect Postal Performance Act," introduces several new restrictions on the United States Postal Service's ability to close or consolidate post offices and processing and distribution centers. Additionally, the bill prohibits the Postal Service from conducting its Mail Processing Facility Review and requires transparency through public reporting of potential service disruptions.
