The commissioner must then grant the same number of continuing education credits that were approved by the out-of-state regulatory authority and process the application within 60 days. The commissioner may charge a fee for processing the application, and the provisions do not apply to asynchronous (self-paced) educational offerings. This change aims to provide more flexibility for real estate appraisers in obtaining continuing education credits from out-of-state sources.
