This resolution commends the Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers Football Team for their exceptional 2024 season, during which they achieved multiple significant accomplishments. The team won their 12th Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) championship, finished with a 10-2 overall record, and earned the No. 4 spot in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Football Poll. Notable individual achievements include running back D'mariun Perteet setting a new program single-season rushing record and earning multiple honors, and quarterback Zach Wilcke's strong leadership. Head Coach Benjy Parker was named MACCC North Division Coach of the Year and All-NJCAA Region 23 Coach of the Year, further highlighting the team's success.
