This bill modifies North Carolina's existing law on carrying concealed weapons to allow for the concealed carry of certain types of knives under specific conditions. The law will become effective on December 1, 2025, and will apply to offenses committed on or after that date, potentially expanding personal carry rights for knife owners while maintaining significant legal restrictions to ensure public safety.
