These changes are designed to ensure that SEEC employees maintain a high standard of political neutrality, similar to the nonpartisan policies applied to employees of the Joint Committee on Legislative Management. The new provisions will take effect on January 1, 2026, providing ample time for the commission to implement and communicate these updated guidelines.
