This resolution congratulates Carla Campos, a high school wrestler from Haltom High School, on winning the gold medal in the 6A girls' 185-pound weight division at the 2025 University Interscholastic League (UIL) Wrestling State Tournament. The resolution highlights her impressive achievements, including three district championships, two regional crowns, two state tournament medals, and All-American honors. Specifically, Campos defeated the two-time defending state champion Rylee Ferranti of Klein Oak High School in the final match with a 6-2 decision at the Berry Center in Cypress on February 14-15. The Texas House of Representatives officially recognizes her exceptional athletic performance, her representation of her school and community, and extends best wishes for her continued success.
