For vehicle deliveries, dispensaries can now transport marijuana to residential addresses, with strict requirements including a delivery manifest, separate packaging, and driver verification of patient identification. Drive-through window deliveries are also authorized, with specific security measures like tinted windows, secure access, and a bank-style drawer for exchanging identification, payment, and marijuana in an opaque exit bag. In both delivery methods, the dispensary must confirm the patient's registry identification card and match it to the delivery ticket. These new delivery options aim to provide more convenient access for qualified patients and designated caregivers while maintaining strict security and identification protocols.
