She was an original staff member of The Great Speckled Bird publication and an active community organizer who opened her home to young people in need. Professionally, she founded Dragonwyck Wax Works in Washington, D.C. and later ran a paper flower art business in Midtown Atlanta. A beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Pirzad was known for her creativity, kindness, and deep connections with friends and loved ones worldwide.
