This bill modifies the election and district structure for judges in the 19th Judicial District Court in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Specifically, the bill reduces the number of judicial election sections from three to two, and adjusts the number of judges elected from each section. Previously, five judges were elected from each of three sections (for a total of 15 judges), but now seven judges will be elected from the first election section, seven judges from the second election section, and one judge will be elected at large.
