This resolution commends Morris Roberts, a talented musician from Tennille, Georgia, for his diverse musical achievements and community contributions. Throughout his life, Roberts has demonstrated musical passion, participating in high school bands and choirs, serving as a guest DJ while in the United States Marine Corps in Okinawa, Japan, and performing with various musical groups. After military service, he established his own entertainment agency, MRPP Agency, and opened the Peppermint Entertainment Complex in New Jersey, while continuing to pursue his own singing career. Beyond music, Roberts has remained engaged with his hometown community by assisting with political campaigns, supporting education and alumni affairs, and helping to feed local residents. The resolution, passed by the House of Representatives, officially recognizes Roberts' dedication to both the musical and cultural landscape of Georgia and directs the House Clerk to provide him with an official copy of the commendation as a formal acknowledgment of his accomplishments.
