This resolution honors the life and memory of Gary Everett Earl, a distinguished citizen of Georgia who passed away on March 23, 2025. Born in Hartford, Connecticut in 1963 and raised in Columbus, Georgia, Earl dedicated 30 years of his professional life to TSYS, where he was known for his hard work, integrity, and generosity. A United States Army veteran who served to protect his fellow Americans, Earl was also an active member of The Edge Church in Columbus and a devoted father to three children (Giovan, Jalen, and Brianna) and grandfather to one granddaughter (Harleigh). The resolution highlights Earl's exceptional personal qualities, including his deep faith, compassion, and commitment to his family and community, describing him as a person of high ideals, strong moral character, and unimpeachable integrity. The House of Representatives formally expresses its deepest regret at his passing and directs the Clerk to make an appropriate copy of the resolution available to his family as a tribute to his life and legacy.
