Park owners can recoup this assessment cost by charging residents up to $1.25 per month along with their lot rent, and they can adjust their payment based on vacant or ineligible lots. The bill maintains existing provisions about relocation trust fund payments, including circumstances where park owners might be exempt from making such payments, such as relocating residents within the same park or to another park at the owner's expense.
