This bill, titled the "Housing Vouchers Fairness Act," proposes to authorize $2,000,000,000 in funding for rental vouchers specifically targeted at high-growth population areas. The bill amends the United States Housing Act of 1937 to create a new provision for distributing rental assistance to public housing agencies in areas with significant population growth. To be eligible, a public housing agency must serve an area with over 100,000 residents and be one of the 25 areas in the United States that experienced the most population growth between 2012 and 2022.
