Eligible participants include those who are uninsured, have inadequate insurance coverage, or have a household income below 300% of the federal poverty level. The program will offer up to $12,000 for female participants (for egg retrieval and storage) and $1,500 for male participants (for sperm retrieval and storage), with an additional $26,000 available for in vitro fertilization (IVF) or intrauterine insemination (IUI) services within five years of retrieval. Each grantee can use up to 3% of their funds for administrative costs and must submit annual reports detailing program expenditures, services provided, and effectiveness, while ensuring participant privacy under HIPAA regulations. The funds will remain available until expended or until June 30, 2032, with the program set to begin on July 1, 2025.
