This resolution recognizes and commends the Stewarts Creek High School Band for their exceptional achievements and service as ambassadors of Tennessee. The band, founded in 2013, has consistently demonstrated musical excellence by receiving superior ratings from the Middle Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association (MTSBOA), earning multiple awards from the American School Band Directors Association, and being selected for prestigious performances like the Tennessee Music Education Association (TMEA) Conference. Most notably, they were one of only two high school bands nationwide chosen to perform at the Sixtieth Presidential Inaugural Parade for Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance on January 20, 2025. The resolution highlights the band's numerous accomplishments, including national television appearances, performances at significant historical events, and leadership in producing All-Mid-State and All-State band members.
