This bill delays the implementation dates of the Minnesota African American Family Preservation and Child Welfare Disproportionality Act from January 1, 2027, to January 1, 2029, across multiple sections of the law. The bill establishes a phased implementation program starting in Hennepin and Ramsey Counties, with the potential for additional counties to participate. The commissioner of human services is directed to create a working group comprised of representatives from county social services, county attorneys, and community organizations to provide guidance and oversight for the phase-in program.
