This bill requires the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to conduct biennial (every two years) inspections of large public housing developments that have 100 or more dwelling units to ensure they meet housing quality and safety standards. These inspections will be conducted by HUD employees or independent inspectors, but not by public housing agency staff or their agents, and will be in addition to existing inspection requirements. The results of these inspections will be made publicly available online.
