Born in Napoleon, Ohio, in 1968, Coe was a devoted minister who, alongside her husband Jeremy, founded churches in Henderson and Tyler, and developed a transformative prison ministry through their radio and television program Real Talk/Real Vida TV, which reached millions of prisoners across the United States. Throughout her 35-year ministry, she was known as "Mama Eve" and was renowned for speaking and singing in both English and Spanish, serving churches, prisons, and schools across three continents. The resolution formally recognizes her legacy by extending condolences to her extensive family, including her husband Jeremy, four children, six grandchildren, her parents Leonel and Eva Alvarez, and six siblings, and officially memorializes her contributions by preparing an official copy of the resolution for her family and adjourning the Texas Senate in her memory.
