This resolution congratulates the Anahuac High School Student Council for earning two prestigious awards from the Texas Association of Student Councils (TASC) at their District 17 Spring Convention in February 2025. The Outstanding Student Council award recognizes the council's excellence in organization, structure, and program participation, while the Sweepstakes award further acknowledges their achievements in key categories including pride and patriotism, energy and environment, community service, and drugs, alcohol, safety, and health (DASH). During the 2024-2025 school year, the student council demonstrated significant community engagement by hosting four blood drives, participating in campus beautification projects, and supporting the TASC State Service Project focused on promoting healthy interpersonal relationships.
