This resolution honors Assistant Coach Marcus Taylor for his extraordinary achievements with the Elmore Park Middle School Eagles boys' basketball team. The resolution highlights Taylor's remarkable coaching accomplishments, including leading the team to three consecutive undefeated seasons with a perfect 96-0 record and winning three Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association (TMSAA) Class AAA state championships. In the 2025 tournament, the team defeated Page 51-24 and Richview 53-32, marking the first time in Tennessee's history that a basketball team at any level has achieved three consecutive undefeated state titles. The resolution recognizes Taylor as an exceptional coach who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, tactical skills, and the ability to motivate young athletes.
