This resolution honors the twenty-four members of the Future Health Professionals (FHP) chapter at Unicoi County High School for their exceptional volunteer work during Hurricane Helene in Northeast Tennessee. The students demonstrated remarkable community service by providing assistance and emotional support to those affected by the hurricane's devastation, despite facing their own personal losses and challenges. FHP, described as a global student-led organization focused on developing future healthcare leaders, inspired these students to provide care, comfort, and hope during a crisis. The resolution specifically recognizes each of the 24 students by name, along with their teacher Rachel Rice, and commends them for embodying humanitarian values, showing exemplary character, and preparing themselves for future professional challenges through their community service. The Tennessee General Assembly seeks to formally acknowledge these young Tennesseans' courage, commitment, and generosity during a difficult time, wishing them the best in their future endeavors.
