This bill amends the public health law to require the New York State Department of Health to provide licensed home care services agencies (LHCSAs) with all necessary digital tools and documents for submitting statistical reports at least 90 calendar days before the reporting deadline. Specifically, the department must make available platforms, applications, software, software updates, templates, forms, and other documents needed for completing registration materials. The bill also maintains an existing penalty provision that charges LHCSAs $500 for each month they are late in submitting complete and accurate registration materials, and prevents agencies that failed to register on time in the previous year from registering in the upcoming period until they pay any outstanding late fees.
