This resolution congratulates Hotel Emma in San Antonio on receiving a 2024 MICHELIN Two Key rating, a new designation by the MICHELIN Guide that recognizes outstanding hotels and resorts based on criteria including interior design, service quality, overall character, value, and neighborhood contribution. Located in a historic 1894 brewhouse originally built by the San Antonio Brewing Association and named after former brewery owner Emma Koehler, the hotel was repurposed by the Roman and Williams design firm and opened in 2015. As one of only 20 properties in Texas to receive this prestigious honor, the resolution formally acknowledges Hotel Emma's achievement, celebrates its recognition among top global accommodations, and expresses best wishes for continued success, ultimately directing that an official copy of the resolution be prepared for the hotel as a formal expression of regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
