Born in 1983 in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago and a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, Dr. Bowden was remembered for his commitment to community service, generosity, and deep compassion. The resolution highlights his roles as a loving family member, including being a source of pride to his parents, a protector to his siblings, and a devoted partner to his wife Teresa Bell. The Illinois Senate extends its sincere condolences to his surviving family members, which include his parents, seven siblings, nieces and nephews, and numerous extended family and friends. By this resolution, the Senate formally acknowledges Dr. Bowden's legacy of love, faith, courage, and service, and will present a copy of the resolution to his family as an expression of sympathy.
