This bill authorizes the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) to convey approximately 20 acres of vacant land along Davol Street in Fall River to the Fall River Redevelopment Authority. The land, previously used for highway purposes, will be transferred subject to certain conditions: the authority may develop the land for residential, retail, commercial, and other economic development purposes without needing to follow traditional urban renewal planning requirements.
