This resolution congratulates Alison Schannep Belliveau on receiving a 2025 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Killeen Independent School District (ISD) Alumni Association, recognizing her significant contributions to education. An alumna of Ellison High School, Mrs. Belliveau currently serves as the principal of the Dr. Gene Burton College and Career Academy and the Rockwall ISD executive director of career and technical education (CTE), with over 25 years of experience in the field. She began her career in Killeen ISD, later worked in Temple ISD, and returned to Killeen ISD as a CTE coordinator before taking her current positions in 2017. Her work involves partnering with local businesses to help students from Rockwall and Rockwall-Heath High Schools explore career options, earn professional certifications, and obtain two-year degrees. Mrs. Belliveau holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in educational administration from Tarleton State University, and was named the Career and Technology Association of Texas Administrator of the Year in 2015. The resolution celebrates her achievements and extends best wishes for her continued success, while also directing that an official copy be prepared for her as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
