This resolution honors Perry Nizzi, a distinguished soccer coach and physical education instructor at Hamilton College, upon his retirement after 28 years of service. Nizzi, who was hired in 1997, had an impressive coaching career spanning 43 seasons, including 26 seasons with Hamilton College's men's soccer team and 17 years at Herkimer College. During his tenure at Hamilton, he achieved significant accomplishments, including 502 total career victories, coaching numerous all-American and all-region players, winning Liberty League tournament titles in 2004 and 2007, and receiving the 2016 NESCAC Coach of the Year award.
