This resolution commends Danna Morales, a high school student from Americas High School in the Socorro Independent School District, for her exceptional service as a legislative intern in State Representative Mary E. González's office. During her internship, Morales demonstrated remarkable skills by helping draft resolutions and memos, tracking news, and gaining valuable insights into the legislative process. She is recognized for her academic excellence, being in the top 10 percent of her class, and her extensive extracurricular involvement, including leadership roles in the Libertas program, High-Q trivia team, varsity swimming team, mock trial team, and World Affairs program. The Texas House of Representatives formally acknowledges her dedicated work, extends best wishes for her future endeavors, and will prepare an official copy of the resolution as a formal expression of their high regard. Morales has been accepted into the Excellence Scholarship Program at The University of Texas at El Paso, where she plans to continue her education after graduation.
