This bill appropriates a total of $33,841,084 from the State General Fund to the Nevada System of Higher Education for operational and instructional expenses for the 2025-2027 biennium. * University of Nevada, Reno: $22,441,996 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * University of Nevada, Las Vegas: $23,580,944 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * Agricultural Experiment Station: $113,154 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * Cooperative Extension Service: $277,476 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV: $867,708 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * School of Dental Medicine at UNLV: $2,124,972 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * Nevada State University: $1,072,226 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * College of Southern Nevada: $5,332,632 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * Great Basin College: $408,738 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * Western Nevada College: $221,370 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * Truckee Meadows Community College: $1,043,258 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. * Prison Education Program: $2,976 from the State General Fund for operational and instructional expenses. Any remaining funds from these appropriations must be committed for expenditure by June 30, 2027, and must be reverted to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027. The Legislature intends these appropriations to be one-time grants to sustain operations for the 2025-2027 biennium and urges the Nevada System of Higher Education to seek additional revenue sources for future biennia.
