This bill appropriates funds from the State General Fund to the Department of Corrections for various technology, training, and equipment upgrades for the fiscal years 2025-2026 and 2026-2027. * **Medical and Dental Equipment:** $324,664 for FY 2025-2026 and $39,939 for FY 2026-2027 for the replacement of medical and dental equipment within the Prison Medical Care budget account. * **Vehicles:** $5,154,386 for FY 2025-2026 and $43,446 for FY 2026-2027 for the replacement of vehicles within the Office of the Director budget account. * **Information Technology Networks and Systems:** $161,526 for FY 2025-2026 and $133,153 for FY 2026-2027 for the replacement of equipment related to information technology networks and systems within the Office of the Director budget account. * **Refrigerator Trucks:** $225,750 for the replacement of refrigerator trucks within the Office of the Director budget account. * **Office Furniture:** $123,308 for the replacement of office chairs and furniture for an executive office within the Office of the Director budget account. * **Passenger Buses and Transport Vans:** $2,861,657 for the replacement of passenger buses and purchase of transport vans within the Office of the Director budget account. * **Computer Hardware and Software:** $103,347 for the replacement of computer hardware and associated software within the Office of the Director budget account. * **Correctional Officer Equipment and Training:** $1,313,733 for equipment and training for correctional officers within the Office of the Director budget account. * **Office Chairs:** $71,604 for the replacement of office chairs within the Correctional Programs budget account. * **Information Technology Servers:** $341,630 for the replacement of hardware, software, and equipment for information technology servers within the Office of the Director budget account, effective July 1, 2026. All appropriations are from the State General Fund. Any unspent balances from appropriations made in Sections 1 through 10 must not be committed after June 30 of the respective fiscal years and must be reverted to the State General Fund by September 18, 2026, or September 17, 2027, depending on the appropriation. Unspent balances from the appropriation in Section 12 must not be committed after June 30, 2027, and must be reverted to the State General Fund by September 17, 2027.
