The resolution highlights his community involvement, including spending winters in Mesa, Arizona, and enjoying camaraderie at the local VFW, and notes that he passed away peacefully in 2025 at the age of 107. The resolution formally honors his military service and community contributions, extends condolences to his family and friends, and directs the Secretary of the Senate to prepare an authenticated copy of the resolution to be transmitted to his family.
