The bill raises this threshold to one hundred persons, effectively reducing the number of establishments that will be required to obtain such a license. The change means that smaller venues with a capacity between twenty and ninety-nine people will no longer need to secure this special license when allowing patrons to bring and consume their own alcoholic beverages. The bill also makes a minor grammatical adjustment, changing "his" to "their" when referring to the operator's agents, servants, or employees. The amendment will take effect immediately upon becoming law.
