This resolution commends Court D. Harris for his eight-year tenure as chairman of the Chicago Executive Airport Board, highlighting his significant contributions and leadership. A West Point graduate and U.S. Army veteran with over five years of military service, Harris led the airport through a period of substantial growth and community engagement, overseeing key initiatives such as the Residential Sound Insulation Program, which provided noise relief to over 35 homes, and attracting the largest development in the airport's history, known as the Sky Harbour development. During his leadership, he maintained the airport's commitment to being self-sustaining, expanded its annual 5K community event, and implemented the Airport Spotlight program to recognize dedicated staff.
