The resolution highlights Spieth's significant advocacy work, noting that she is a mother of four children, three of whom have disabilities, and has 22 years of professional experience working with children with disabilities in various settings. Through the PiP program, which spans seven months and teaches participants about disability history, systems, and policy, Spieth developed her Project ABLE to identify medical providers experienced with intellectual and developmental disabilities and create resources for education and support. The resolution formally recognizes her accomplishments, commends her for developing skills to effect positive community change, and extends best wishes for her future advocacy efforts, ultimately directing that an official copy of the resolution be prepared for Mrs. Spieth as an expression of regard from the Texas House of Representatives.
