This resolution requests the Louisiana legislative auditor to update its February 2024 report on assistance programs, contingent on the passage of two specific bills in the 2025 Legislative Session. If House Bills 624 and 617 are enacted, the legislative auditor is asked to conduct a follow-up review and publish an updated report at least 30 days before the 2027 Regular Session. If those bills are not passed, the follow-up review would instead focus on identifying workloads that can be integrated without statutory changes and determine any limitations to program integration. A copy of the resolution will be transmitted to the legislative auditor, the governor, and task force members.
