This bill amends the state finance law to require state agencies and the commissioner to, when feasible, divide public contracts into four different size categories: large, medium, small, and micro contracts. The bill will take effect 60 days after becoming law, with a provision that ensures the amendment does not affect any existing repeal provisions in the original statute.
