This resolution congratulates the Hoosic Valley Odyssey of the Mind Team for their exceptional performance at the New York State Odyssey of the Mind Championship Tournament on April 5, 2025. The team, composed of six high school students (Isabella Schmidt, Evan Antolick, Anna Grace Macica, Sophia Wilson, Julia Mastromarchi, and Amelia Stannard) and coached by Kyle Schmidt, previously won the Renatra Fusca Award for creativity at the Region 4 Championship Tournament and subsequently placed first in Problem 3, Division III at the state championship. Their achievement not only earned them an invitation to the Odyssey of the Mind World Finals at Michigan State University, where they finished fourth globally, but also brought pride to their school, families, and community. The resolution formally acknowledges the team's outstanding academic excellence, creative problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and collaborative spirit, and resolves to transmit an official, engrossed copy of the resolution to the team members and their coach as a formal recognition of their achievements.
