This resolution honors the life and service of Deputy Larry Ray Henderson, Jr., a dedicated law enforcement officer who served with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office for 33 years. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Henderson worked in numerous specialized roles including hazardous material technician, dive team, SWAT, bomb detection, and as a deputy U.S. marshal with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force. After retiring in 2024, he continued to serve as a volunteer special deputy and was known for his integrity, competence, and commitment to community safety. The resolution expresses deep sympathy to his family, including his wife Lorena and five children, and acknowledges his significant contributions to law enforcement. The Ohio House of Representatives formally recognizes Henderson's exemplary service, pays tribute to his memory, and instructs the House Clerk to transmit an authenticated copy of the resolution to his family as a gesture of respect and condolence.
